Insurance Requirements

This Insurance Requirements Policy outlines the minimum insurance coverage required to rent and operate a vehicle through Rent A Dream Truck.

By renting a vehicle from Rent A Dream Truck, you agree to maintain the required insurance coverage throughout the entire rental period.

1. REQUIRED INSURANCE COVERAGE

  • All renters must maintain active commercial auto insurance coverage during the rental term.

  • Coverage must remain active at all times while the vehicle is in the customer’s possession.

  • Proof of insurance must be submitted before the vehicle is released.

2. MINIMUM COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS

Customers must maintain:

  • Commercial Auto Liability Coverage

  • Physical Damage Coverage

  • Collision Coverage

  • Comprehensive Coverage

Coverage limits may vary depending on the vehicle and rental agreement requirements.

3. ADDITIONAL INSURED & LOSS PAYEE

Rent A Dream Truck may require being listed as:

  • Additional Insured

  • Loss Payee

Customers may be required to provide updated insurance documents showing these requirements before pickup.

4. DEDUCTIBLES

  • Customers are responsible for all insurance deductibles.

  • Deductible amounts must meet company approval standards.

  • High deductibles may require additional approval or security deposits.

5. INSURANCE VERIFICATION

  • Insurance documents may be verified directly with the insurance provider.

  • Customers must immediately notify Rent A Dream Truck of any policy cancellation, lapse, or coverage changes.

  • Failure to maintain valid insurance may result in suspension or repossession of the vehicle.

6. ACCIDENTS & CLAIMS

  • All accidents, damages, theft, or incidents involving the vehicle must be reported immediately.

  • Customers are responsible for cooperating with insurance investigations and claim processing.

  • Failure to report damages may result in additional charges or termination of the rental agreement.

7. UNAUTHORIZED USE

Insurance coverage may become invalid if:

  • Unauthorized drivers operate the vehicle

  • Illegal activity occurs

  • The vehicle is used outside approved business purposes

  • Rental agreement terms are violated

Customers remain financially responsible for damages not covered by insurance.
