Late Payment Policy

This Late Payment Policy explains the rules, fees, and consequences related to missed or delayed payments for Rent A Dream Truck rental agreements.

By renting a vehicle from Rent A Dream Truck, you agree to comply with the payment terms outlined below.

1. WEEKLY PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Rental payments are due on the scheduled weekly payment date listed in the rental agreement.
Customers are required to maintain a valid automatic payment method during the rental term.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.

2. FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

Payments that are declined, returned, or unsuccessful may result in additional fees.
Customers may be contacted regarding failed payments, but failure to receive notice does not remove payment responsibility.
Multiple failed payments may place the account into default status.

3. LATE FEES

Late fees may be added to accounts with overdue balances.
Additional fees may continue to accumulate until the balance is paid in full.
Customers remain responsible for all outstanding balances and charges.

4. GRACE PERIOD

Rent A Dream Truck may provide a limited grace period at its sole discretion.
A grace period is not guaranteed and may be revoked for repeated late payments.
Repeated late payments may affect future rental eligibility.

5. ACCOUNT DEFAULT

Accounts may be considered in default for:

Missed weekly payments
Repeated declined transactions
Failure to communicate regarding overdue balances
Attempting to avoid payment obligations

Default status may result in suspension or termination of the rental agreement.

6. VEHICLE RECOVERY & REPOSSESSION

Vehicles connected to delinquent accounts may be subject to recovery or repossession.
Customers are responsible for towing fees, recovery expenses, legal costs, and repossession fees related to overdue accounts.
Voluntary return of the vehicle does not remove financial responsibility for unpaid balances.

7. COLLECTIONS & LEGAL ACTION

Past-due accounts may be sent to collections or pursued through legal action when necessary.
Customers may be responsible for attorney fees, court costs, and collection expenses associated with unpaid balances.
Rent A Dream Truck reserves all rights permitted by applicable law.
