Payment Policy

This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to payments, deposits, billing, and additional charges for services provided by Rent A Dream Truck. By reserving, renting, or using our services, you agree to the terms listed below.

1. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Weekly rental payments are required and are processed through automatic payment methods.

  • All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.

  • Applicable taxes, processing fees, and surcharges may be added to your total.

2. SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals and will be authorized on your payment method prior to pickup.

  • Deposit amounts may vary depending on truck size, rental duration, insurance requirements, or customer approval status.

  • Deposits will be released within 5–7 business days after the truck is returned in acceptable condition.

  • Damage, excessive cleaning, unpaid fees, mileage overages, missing equipment, violations, or contract breaches may result in deductions from the deposit.

3. LATE PAYMENTS

  • Payments not received by the due date may incur late fees.

  • Continued non-payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the rental agreement.

  • Rent A Dream Truck reserves the right to disable, recover, or repossess vehicles for non-payment or contract violations.

  • Customers remain responsible for all unpaid balances, collection costs, legal fees, towing fees, and recovery expenses.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled rental start date may qualify for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the rental date may be subject to cancellation fees.

  • Background check/application fees are non-refundable.

  • No-shows or early returns are non-refundable unless approved by management in writing.

  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.

5. ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Additional charges may include, but are not limited to:

  • Additional mileage beyond included mileage limits

  • Fuel charges if truck is not returned with the required fuel level

  • Cleaning fees or smoke removal fees

  • Damage repair costs

  • Toll charges, parking tickets, red-light camera tickets, or traffic violations

  • Towing or impound fees

  • Late return fees

  • Unauthorized driver fees

  • Insurance deductibles or uncovered damages

All additional charges may be billed to the payment method on file.

6. PAYMENT SECURITY

  • We use secure third-party payment processing systems to protect customer payment information.

  • Rent A Dream Truck does not store full credit or debit card information on company servers.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring payment methods remain active and valid during the rental term.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Rent A Dream Truck reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on the website with the effective date listed above.
