Repossession Policy

This Repossession Policy explains the circumstances under which Rent A Dream Truck may recover, disable, or repossess a rental vehicle due to violations of the rental agreement or failure to meet payment obligations.

By renting a vehicle from Rent A Dream Truck, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. FAILURE TO MAKE PAYMENTS

  • Weekly rental payments must be made on time through the approved automatic payment method.

  • Failure to make payment may place the account into default status.

  • Continued non-payment may result in immediate repossession of the vehicle without further notice.

2. DEFAULT OF RENTAL AGREEMENT

A customer may be considered in default for:

  • Missed or declined payments

  • Providing false information during the application process

  • Unauthorized drivers using the vehicle

  • Failure to maintain required insurance coverage

  • Illegal activity involving the vehicle

  • Abandonment or misuse of the vehicle

  • Violation of any rental agreement terms or company policies

3. RIGHT TO RECOVER VEHICLE

  • Rent A Dream Truck reserves the right to recover or repossess any vehicle in default status.

  • Repossession may occur without prior warning if allowed by applicable law.

  • Customers agree not to interfere with recovery efforts or conceal the vehicle location.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  • Customers remain responsible for all unpaid rental charges, late fees, damages, towing costs, legal fees, and repossession expenses.

  • Personal belongings left inside the vehicle during repossession are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Rent A Dream Truck is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.

5. VEHICLE TRACKING & LOCATION

  • Rental vehicles may contain GPS tracking or fleet monitoring systems for business and recovery purposes.

  • Customers agree to the use of tracking technology while renting company vehicles.

  • Tampering with tracking devices or disabling monitoring systems is prohibited.

6. RETURN OF VEHICLE

  • Customers may voluntarily return the vehicle before repossession occurs.

  • Voluntary return does not remove responsibility for unpaid balances or damages.

  • Vehicles must be returned in acceptable condition according to the rental agreement.

7. SUSPENSION OF RENTAL PRIVILEGES

  • Customers who default or require repossession may lose future rental privileges with Rent A Dream Truck.

  • Future applications may be denied based on payment history or policy violations.
